Below is a selection of images received from Erdenedalai late February, sent by Batsaa who visited there to deliver coal and a fodder supplement. These graphic images bring the unfolding tragedy right into focus. Batsaa is on the truck helping to unload. He is also to be seen (last picture) advising herders how tu use the animal feed supplement that will help make more of what little food the animals have.
